Latest news and valuable resources for the 4lessburnout community
4lessburnout project
Dear 4lessburnout community members,

We're thrilled to reconnect with our amazing community as we dive deeper into the latest developments and exciting milestones of the 4lessBurnout project. Since our last update, we've been hard at work, driven by our shared passion for innovation and progress.
In this edition, you'll find updates, insights, and stories that reflect our commitment to develop the means and resources to assess the level of stress and burnout amongst social practitioners, working directly with vulnerable people and to encourage them to seek for help.

As we continue this journey together, we're excited to share our progress and vision with you. So, without further ado, let's jump into the heart of our project's latest news!

JOINT STAFF TRAINING

The first 4LessBurnout joint staff training took place during the 25th-27th of April in Bucharest, Romania. It's been an intensive, yet insightful experience hosted by our Romanian partner the European Association for Social Innovation. The 3-days training focused on the presentation of the 4LessBurnout results and the interaction with the tool for burnout level assessment.

OPEN DIGITAL TOOL - MAPPING THE CURRENT SITUATION REGARDING BURNOUT AMONG SOCIAL PROFESSIONALS BY DESIGNING AN OPEN DIGITAL TOOL FOR BURNOUT LEVEL ASSESSMENT.

The digital version of the burnout level and stressors assessment is finalised, a beta version having been tested by the social practitioners who attended the training.

The self-assesment tool includes two main questionnaires: one regarding the level of burnout and one regarding the stressors.

The self-assesment tool will now be presented and tested with social practitioners at national level in all partner countries, through the upcoming validation workshops. To learn more about the validation workshop in each country, please contact our project coordinator or check our partners' websites to get in touch directly with them.

BUILDING PROFESSIONALS' CAPACITY TO COPE WITH BURNOUT

The main goal of this initiative is to create a blended learning course for social practitioners to:

  • help them develop coping skills
  • reduce the stress caused by the working environment
  • improve the quality of the interaction with beneficiaries.

During the training, the leader and co-leader of this PR successfully shaped the curriculum of the future training program, and the partners have now finished developing a thematic module. Next step will be the pilot sessions which will take place this upcoming autumn.
