MAKE ME FEEL AT HOME – a storytelling experience
Our first result - “Make me feel at home”: Proposals for a better service provision of care for older LGBTQI+ users based on storytelling has been completed!

TRAINING FOR MORE INCLUSIVE CARE SERVICES: TRAINING COURSE AND TOOLS
The curriculum of this course includes at least 5 modules, covering topics related to human rights, inclusion, discrimination, equality, diversity charts, health, emotional and social specific issues about LGBTQI+ older people, gender identities and sexual orientations, harassment, and inclusive language.

UPCOMING TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES: TRAIN THE TRAINER
Our third result, a learning programme for trainers, aiming to equip trainers with the proper tools to replicate the previously developed training course, has also reached an important milestone. All the materials have been prepared to be tested during the pilot sessions, which will begin this winter.

THE METHODOLOGY FOR AWARDING A BADGE OF EXCELLENCE FOR INCLUSIVE RESIDENTIAL CARE OF OLDER LBGTQI+ SERVICE USERS
This resource is designed to help professionals in care services to implement strategies to make their services inclusive for LGBTQI+. The partners are currently developing a questionnaire to help care centres determine their level of inclusivity and possible actions towards being more inclusive.

If you’re looking for a searchable repository of practices, policies, tools, and lessons learned in relation to inclusive care for older LGBTQI+s, we have the right resource for you. Our database is free to access and multilingual and everyone is invited to contribute or access it.
