A course that will include topics like: human rights, discrimination, emotional and social specific issues about LGBTQI+ older people and more. During a training which took place on 27-30th of March in Athens, Greece, we delivered a first version of the training course.
The purpose of the training was to test and discuss the adequacy, feasibility, and quality of the curricula, training material and tools developed for the training, and fine tune it according to the feedback received from the participants. Upon implementing the recommendations received from the training, we will pilot the course in each partner country with representatives from management areas, professionals, and staff of at least one service care.
We will assess attitudes, beliefs, and behaviours (intended) towards LGBTQI+ people as well as the managersā willingness to implement changes to make their organisation more inclusive and LGBTQI+ friendly.
